Julie is a multi-award winner, proud mum of two intelligent and compassionate daughters, and CEO of Australians Investing in Women (AIIW), a leading NFP that encourages all Australians to apply a gender lens to their giving.
Fiona is a board member at UN Women and has a strong passion for the development of women. She is mentor and leader who has inspired many to embrace and champion change.
Kate chairs the board of Good Return, a micro financing not-for-profit that supports women in local communities across the Asia Pacific. She is determined to drive change in this region.
Australian’s Investing in Women (AIIW)
Australian’s Investing in Women (AIIW) is a leading national NFP advocate for Gender-wise philanthropy. Building on progress towards gender equity, they take an evidence-based approach and work in partnership with philanthropic, corporate and community leaders to strengthen society by catalysing investing in women and girls.
A global champion for women and girls, UN Women is the United Nations entity responsible for promoting gender equality and women’s empowerment. UN Women Australia is a registered charity which exists to raise funds for and awareness of UN Women’s work across the Pacific region and around the world. UN Women Australia is recognised by UN Women as its partner in Australia to advance UN Women’s agenda.
Good Return is a not-for-profit working across the Asia Pacific region. Good Return enables women and their families to access opportunity and build financial security. Their focus is providing responsible finance to local entrepreneurs, as well as education and business training to women and other excluded groups to build confidence and financial capability.
